Who this policy applies to
This policy covers personal information we collect from dealership operators, staff, and prospects who visit our marketing site, sign up for a Dealer Bloom account, or contact us. Buyer and customer data that flows into a dealership's own Dealer Bloom site is governed by that dealership's own privacy policy — we process it strictly as a service provider to the dealership.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to run the platform and support you. That includes:
- Account information — your name, email address, dealership name, phone number, and password (stored one-way hashed).
- Billing information — plan tier and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never touch our servers.
- Usage data — the pages you visit in the admin, the features you use, error reports, and performance metrics. We use this to improve the product.
- Support conversations — messages you send us via email or the contact form, and our replies.
- Cookies and similar technologies — a session cookie to keep you signed in, a locale preference cookie, and analytics cookies described below.
How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- Provide the Dealer Bloom platform to you and your team.
- Provision, maintain, and secure your dedicated infrastructure.
- Send you service notifications — billing receipts, security alerts, feature releases.
- Respond to your support requests and feature ideas.
- Improve the platform based on aggregate usage patterns.
- Meet our legal and tax obligations.
Your dealership's data stays isolated
Every dealership on our platform runs on dedicated infrastructure — its own managed database, its own media storage, its own notification keys. Your inventory, leads, and customer records are not shared with any other dealership, and our team accesses that data only when you specifically ask us to (for support or debugging). We never sell your data or your customers' data to anyone.
Cookies and tracking
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors interact with our pages. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some features (such as staying signed in) will stop working without them.
- Essential cookies — session, security, and locale preference.
- Analytics — anonymized usage patterns on our marketing site and admin.
- No advertising or third-party tracking cookies on our marketing site.
How long we keep your information
We retain your account information for as long as your dealership uses Dealer Bloom, plus a 30-day grace period after cancellation in case you change your mind. After that we delete your database, media storage, and account records. Billing records and support conversations are kept longer where required by applicable law.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Most of these actions are available directly in your admin; for anything else, email us and we will action your request within 30 days.
Sharing and international transfers
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the platform — hosting, payment processing, email delivery, error tracking. Each of these providers is bound by data-protection commitments comparable to ours. Depending on where you sign up, your data may be stored in the region closest to your dealership; where cross-border transfers are needed, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect new features, legal requirements, or changes in how we operate. When we make material changes we will notify you via email or in the admin at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
